Us lambs know that Mariah will have a hard time saying no. She never insulted or degraded someone. There are many instances that someone sings in front of her or interviewers showing her clips of other people singing her songs and asked her to judge them. She says only positive things.

I have yet to see Mimi insult someone on stage.
But she wasn't paid for that. Also those interviews were selling her product, so it'd look bad if she slated them. She can easily say, 'i'm sorry, but it's a no from me'.
Mariah will be fine. She's not some quiet, shy young woman like when she first came out. She's a grown woman and she'll be confident, speak her mind and be honest.
In all fairness I think all three of them (Brit,Mariah,Demi) will be totally different judges and good in different ways. I definitley think Mariah can "shade" the best out of the three of them, Demi I think will do well with giving constructive and insightful criticism and Britney's humour will surprise people.
