Celeb Battle: Whose One-Year-Old Single is Better, Demi Lovato’s or Selena Gomez’s? Have we ever done a Celeb Battle between Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez before? Probably, but the Deniall vs. Jelena one, for our purposes, does not count, you guys. Because this week’s celeb battle is totally different and is kickin’ it old school. Today is “Skyscraper Day,” marking the one year anniversary of Demi’s empowering hit, “Skyscraper,” so we thought we’d take this opportunity to have her battle it out with her BFF, Selena Gomez, whose “Love You Like a Love Song” also came out last summer. And since Demi Lovato is also hosting next week’s Teen Choice Awards and Selena has hosted quite a few events in her years, like the MuchMusic Awards 2011 and the VMA 2011 pre-show, there’s that to compare them on, too.
So for old times sake, listen to both Demi’s and Selena’s classic singles below, and then tell us who takes your vote for the better song. And if you wanna tell us in the comments who you think makes a better awards show host, you can do that too. Just sayin’.

oh god, both JLo and Steven Tyler have been confirmed to leave American Idol! Looks like those Miley rumors might be coming true! I'd love to see both Miley and Demi on reality TV twice a week! Demi in the fall, and Miley in the winter! I can only hope... right?

ST(I) has been confirmed but J-lo said its time for her to leave, she hasnt confirmed it yet

From what I know her only singles to crack the Top 20 were HWGA, Skyscraper, and Now GYHAB, This is me is not even from her solo career so it doesn`t count at all! Sombody tell me if I`m wrong!

billboard still counted this is me because it is still under her name! it didnt say camp rock cast or anything. it said DEMI LOVATO!
