Wikipedia is probably the least reliable source on the net so... go ahead.
One more thing, quite important imo. GGGB era was probaly the most signifant era in Rihanna's career so far. Her fanbase started to grew like crazy... and that was really meaningful to her longevity on the market. She got audience interest.
Katy - despite the successful singles people are not here for her in general. Her concert movie sank on her biggest market. It means that although she did her best, people are here for her likeable tunes but not for her as a singer... and it is... embarrassing
Anyway, GGGB.
It's the one with a song on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.
It's the one that sold 9 million copies.
It's the one with Grammys to it's name.
It's the one critics raved over.
I think they're a lot of silly, delusional stans here overhyping the success of "Umbrella." Both are amazing eras. I don't think anyone can call it for sure but to make vastly ignorant comments like "Umbrella" is more memorable than all of the Teenage Dream singles. Really? - _ -
umm umbrella is listed in rolling stones greatest songs of all time. GGGB sold 9 million w.w. teenage dream just passed 6... plus when gggb was out ,itunes was not as big as it is now. gggb had good reviews and was nominated for 9 grammies and won one. she had iconic hair styles. rihanna in 2007-2008 and still today is the **** and forever bigger than katy perry. she opened up the vma's, and was suppose to open up the grammys(but chris smh)....the vma would never ask katy to open. no one cares about her that much. yeah she sung will we rock you one year at vma but that definetly wasent her song/set
and yes umbrella was bigger than all teenage dream singles....califonia might have lasted longer but thats like her worse song and its not respected.teenage dream is just no. firework was/is big but umbrella was the biggest song of 2007,evrybody knew that song's chorus . #1 worldwide #6 on r&b. and the rest just dont compare
