Her music as a whole is more innovative. Her music is better written. Her music is better sung too! Music, Ray of Light, Erotica, Bedtime Stories, and Madonna are all better than any Britney album. She has countless other good albums while Britney's only solid albums are In the Zone and Blackout.

People liking music is an opinion, but Madonna has contributed more to Pop music, has more unique music, better lyrics, has more artistic integrity (on pop star terms) and overall is just.... better. Those things are facts not opinions.... except the lyrics. Is anyone gonna say Britney's lyrics are better though?

Britney can easily compete with Madonna in the singles department. Her singles are strong. However i just find myself really bored and dull when listening to an album by her. She has so many fillers. Madonna has amazing albums
