She also takes chances and prides herself in working with different people and sounds. Most of the other girls work with established popular people with already popular sounds.
Yeah I should have worded it differently, was just lazy to put "of higher intellect"... but you pretty much explained what I meant! So thank you
i do think though that has has a more invested interest in the process and creation of the music than the others.. i mean she's literally a part of every step

Gotcha. I just dislike insulting other people. I mean there's a reason why I stan for Gaga but I don't like insulting her contemporaries to make her look better. It also gives us a bad reputation. I agree that she is a lot more invested in the process though. She knows exactly what she wants from everything. I think perhaps she sometimes oversteps. For example I think with music videos and producing she tried controlling it a bit too much. She can get a proffesional director or producer to do exactly what she tells them rather than try to do it herself. Although then again with practice she can improve. I think MTN was a well directed video. It still had some kinks but overall it was a pretty well directed video.

I mean I've accepted she won't get an AOTY nom this time around, but she better at least win 1 Grammy.

I think this next era will solidify her status. I wouldn't discount her either. She will always have haters especially hipster wannabes who blindly hate on popular music. However, I think she can persevere. I think the ups and downs of the GP's perception of her have leveled out. People know who she is, they know what she's about, they know what she's capable of, etc. I felt with TF she had to prove she could be a popstar, with TFM she had to establish who she was and set herself apart in the pop landscape, and with BTW she had to prove that she isn't a brainless, talentless robot. The GP now knows she is a talented singer/songwriter what she stands for and that she's a human being. With TF people were skeptical that she could make it and then they figured she was just a phase(one hit wonder, typical popstar, etc). With TFM people thought she was just some weird demonic alien. BTW proved she can sing well and that she is a human being with emotions and they know what she stands for.
I think this era will be interesting because she has gotten all the pretense out of the way. She's not overhyped and seen as a demon/god(depending on your impression after TFM she was either a Pop God or an Illumaniti Demon). She doesn't have anything to prove this era other than to deliver another great album.

I'd be here for bonus tracks but the regular album needs to be as flawless from top to bottom as possible. I want TFM quality extended to 11-13 tracks. BTW had great highs, but the lows on the album made it overlong.

The problem is there are so many different fans out there. Some fans wanted ballads, some wanted simple pop songs, some wanted her to talk about human rights, religion, politics, etc. Some wanted her to just sing about partying and sex. The list goes on. Everyone, even in this thread, have such a diverse opinion on what her high and low moments were. I know quite a few people who hate HML for example but it's a fan favorite here.
I say:
12-13 standard edition
16-17 deluxe edition
