I can't understand how dark side is flopping big time especially coming from Stronger. I do believe it has big potential but for the first time this era the timing was off.

The fact that dark side is flopping I can't see you love me or let me down seeing the light of day.

I can see them releasing I forgive you and close this era with the war is over. They should just let dark side peak on hac and release forgive. There's also no use now to waste promotion on dark side.

Already Gone needed all the help it could get (especially after the mess that preceded it).

Dark Side doesn't necessarily need a ton of promo; it'll move its way up on its own (that's what it's been doing that so far), but a little promo definitely would help move it a little more quickly.

The video was uploaded on her vevo account and deleted from her original youtube account. So technically the 7 millions are the recurrent views (so to speak).

It would probably be +15 million if the video wasn't deleted.

I bet RCA was aiming for this song to blow on it's on especially coming from Stronger.

I hope it can get into the 60s this weekend! It's creeping along. I hate to sound like a broken record but I'm really hoping for some promo soon.. it could just need one last push to get a second wind going. A little more sales and airplay could be all it needs to snowball into a hit. Top 10 on Hot AC isn't a stretch and Pop just needs to get moving..

Just checked and this is Kelly's rank on Z100 for the week ending yesterday:

31 23 KELLY CLARKSON Dark Side 19 16 3 1.1627

So it's #23 now and was #31 the week before. Nice to see it jumped 8 spots and 3 spins!! I think given the fact that people are reporting it's being played more means they are probably bumping her to the #16-#20 range for this upcoming week which would be about 25 spins. It's also good that they seem to be giving her better slot times so more people are hearing it versus the 2am , 6am times it was getting before.

Also, this is my local Hot AC station that I hear DS on all the time:

She's #4 on their playlist with 70 spins, up from 37 last week

Do we really think she's gonna hop onto her tour right away? I wish she'd cancel at least a couple of the earlier dates to recuperate And I feel like her ankle will give her an excuse prevent her from wanting to go promote on late night talk shows.
