Well, looking back, I think the last songs similar to Pound the Alarm that got #1 were We Found Love and Sexy And I Know It, and that was back in January, so a pretty long time ago. By "similar", I mean that they're both dance songs, synth heavy (and SAIKI contains rapping aswell).

Part of Me, Stronger and Call Me Maybe are a bit similar too, in that they're quite dance-y, but those three songs are more acoustic, with guitars and strings, rather than the David Guetta/RedOne/Calvin Harris type synths in Pound the Alarm.

Oh I see. I don't know though about the song. I want it to go #1 but I'd rather VVV be her first #1 single.

This song though can last until at least September, or more if it becomes a much bigger hit than Starships.
