Well look at it this way.

If you are only counting singles GS then by far Steffi and Margaret Court are much better than both Evert and Navratilova. But if you include ALL aspects of tennis (singles, doubles, mixed) and the conditions on the wins (age, playing style) then Navratilova beats by far.

Ugh I'm hoping Federer wins tomorrow. Fed has the game to get Djokovic out of his rhythm. He has to win most of the short rallies and he has to get to the net. No one is beating Djoker from the back of the court tbh and although Fed will get passed, time and time again

he has to keep going at it because he WILL NOT win from the back of the court. His backhand slice has to work and if all of those things are going well, including Fed's graceful moves, then I have no doubt he'll win. But if anything goes wrong then he will not win. Simple as that

Things are looking good for the Williams sisters. Every time they paired up in doubles at Wimbledon, one of them has gone on to win in the singles department. They are also 100-8 in GS matches now as a team and in the semifinals where they will face the number 1 seeds. Should they win, they will have a very easy time in the finals

Williams also seems to lift her game against the toughest of opponents - she has now won her last eight matches against Top 2 players in straight sets. Incredible

With Serena in the doubles she will play 3 days in a row, today, tomorrow's semis and then Saturday's final in singles and doubles (should she win her semis tomorrow). I hope that doesn't affect her

Let's not. Martina Hingis is a VERY smart player who also possessed the power, should she choose to use it. Radwanska does not have that power AND she isn't as crafty. She also isn't as court saavy or nimble, and she has a losing record against Williams. Not to mention this is her first Wimbledon final, and Grand Slam final (after making her first Grand Slam semifinal). Williams will rip her apart tomorrow

Well, I had played at least 3 hours a day for 4 days in a row...

I took one of the 2 sets 6-0.

She'll just get some good returning practice. That's it.

I am one of Hingis's biggest fans

But Radwanska is like a 20% Hingis. And since Serena is playing at about 20% of her peak, anything is possible.

If you're a big fan of Hingis, you wouldn't insult her by comparing Radwanska to her

True Serena isn't playing near her peak and it could be a surprise tomorrow. But if she's serving like she has been all tournament, there is NO WAY Agnieszka is getting a game off of Serena's serve. And Radwanska's serve is one of the weaker parts of her game so it'll be a challenge to hold. I definitely do not see her losing at all Saturday, unless the serve leaves her

But Radwanska plays pretty much the same game as Hingis 2006/2007. It's just a fact. Of course Hingis 1997-2001 was way better, but both of their games are based on 0 UE and making the opponent uncomfortable.
