Calvin Harris is not british but he has enjoyed THE sucess

This year has been wonderful for so many foreign artists.. It's like U.S. is giving them a chance to perform how they deserve

"Want U Back" is witty, spunky and fun. "Call Me Maybe" is juvenile, pre-k esque lyrics and just really lame. Though, as I stated way back when, I do understand its success. But "WUB" is way better and they are not comparable in quality.

And I agree with Clash&Burn... Mumford and Sons definitely deserved the mention too.

Well... I am old enough to include (of course) Muse and Radiohead... but what seems changed a bit is the receptive mood the Singles Chart is seemingly having to Uk pop & pop/rock pop/folk dance/pop names.
