No matter how HILARIOUS or TRUE the statements were, there was no need to bring them up in an album review.
I can see how those statements were relevant to an extent (when they were discussing what his inspiration and direction for songs should have came from) but most of it seemed like it was just thrown in because the reviewers hate him. They're entitled to do that if they want but it's not good journalism honestly.

And it's not like the reviews would be better if they ignored all that stuff. The music isn't good enough to stand on its own.

But, sis, it happens all the time. Some here are acting like it's new or they only bring up Chris's personal life just cuz. I mean with Britney and her comeback and Beyoncé and her pregnancy... The music is usually a reflection of an artists current state of being and the reviews look at all those things.
I still hold my opinion that this is his best song since after the incident.
