The interviewer was trying to add a little light-hearted comedy and Bieber was having none of it. He a ruined a perfectly good interview and made himself look bad. That's what it comes down to, there really shouldn't be a debate on it.

it wasn't even a mom insult, if anything it was aimed more at the fact that harry styles is infamous for seducing/having flings with older women, not really about biebers mother

But EVERYONE missed the part when he said WHY he made that joke about Harry trying to mack on his mom.... They read/heard an interview where Selena (Justin's GF) supposedly made that same joke about both their moms. I think it was all just a misunderstanding and the reason he hung up was because his comeback blew up in his face. Bahahahahaha

Yeah making jokes about his mom is such great comedy.
He was trying to make the interview more light-hearted after Bieber took the intentional compliment as an insult. It's not the interviewer's fault that Bieber allows his temper to run rampant.
