It was higher.

It peaked at #40 on the digital chart (which is their main chart) and #8 on airplay.
Already Gone peaked at #66 I think.... Don't know about airplay though

The only way for it to get back up is releasing the remix ep. Hopefully she will get a banner which will be a boost for the song. And then I do mean a banner on the main page, a banner in the pop section isn't really effective.

She needs promo.

There's also a chance that if the song becomes a top 10 hit in the states, it might get a second chance in the UK since they love following the US charts.

I disagree. Radio always has a effect. It may not have a direct effect but it certainly does have a effect. The fact that the song was top 50 on Itunes without promo was because of the radio spins.
