I was in the kitchen this morning, and out of nowhere I just sang "I'm wide awake!" and my mom looks at me and is like.. um duh, you just woke up... lmao.
Remember guys, Wide Awake is exceeding our expectations. It is a mid-tempo ballad after all, and they generally don't do well on the charts. Even if this doesn't go #1, it's okay and still an achievement for Katy, and for all the other pop girls who can't get a hit with a ballad.
