I wish mainstream radio was more open to hip-hop and rap music. In my opinion, Take Care, Climax, and The Motto all should have done extremely better than they did, even though they were moderate chart hits. With more support from mainstream radio, they could have been bigger. They are arguably some of the best songs released this year, and they deserved better chart success.

"Take Care" had mainly mainstream support, cause Urban barely touched it. But yeah, they deserved better.
Mainstream radio should play Mercy by Kanye West more imo. It's in the top 10 on On-Demand this week. People clearly like the song. And it's got a very catchy melody in the beat.

Honestly, it wouldn't go far unless the label endorses it.
What's My Name? is just an incredible song, with appeal to people with a wide range different music tastes. The stations that were playing Trey Songz wanted to play it, and the stations that were playing Katy Perry wanted to play it. All that equals MASSIVE radio airplay. And What's My Name? deserved every bit of it.
As I was saying earlier, Nicki Minaj DESPERATELY needs a hit like this, to unite all her fanbase.
