So far, the only one-week number one has been "Part Of Me"
Interesting... By this time last year, we had three... Next week, it'll be four.

It's gonna be fun seeing people getting pressed by Katy's continuing chart success yet again, particularly a certain stanbase.

I think it is right to declare that Katy Perry is the popstar that's doing the best right now.
I'm so happy for Wide Awake. I hope it dethrones Call Me Maybe ASAP.
I want Maroon 5 to hit number one too, but it's been so long and it got overshadowed by WAY, STIUTK and CMM.

There's no way Payphone will hit number one: now that they are out to promote One More Night, the inevitable effect on Payphone will be to shorten its Radio chart run (because radio will start sharing spins among the two songs) and the sales although probably stay still consistent for a certain while will decrease too.
What I don't get is the reason they wanted to release One More Night this soon.
The song is a perfect Summer fit but just because of Payphone still impacting greatly, both the sales and the airplay for OMN will be diminished enough to not allow either THAT song to have a chance at hitting eventually number one, even more considering Maroon 5 won't be able to promote properly the song in the USA soil, having their Latin America dates set up for any moment Adam won't be engaged either in The Voice taping or American Horror Story + Can A Song Save Your Life? movie.
It seems that this era Maroon 5 will be just happy having Top 3 hits at best .
Which is far from being bad, if you recall the mess that singles out of HAO era results were, anyway...

So after next week, fun. can't be considered a one hit wonder, it seems. Since Billboard classifies a one hit wonder as only having one song peak in the top 40 of the Hot 100.
