I've never really listened to the whole thing (and paid attention to the lyrics). I wonder if Beyonce still feels this way about her father, and if they are close at all. I know that since he doesn't mange her it's to be expected that we wouldn't see her around him like with Tina, but there hasn't been one picture of them since the split, no?

I have the same opinion as y'all: LOVE the growls, don't like the rasp. Kelly started doing the same thing. I hope Beyonce doesn't pick it up too, one of the best things about her voice is the clarity of her belts. Please no rasp, Bey.

Go for it. Try your best and have a good time. At least you'll try. I'm sure it will teach you lots of things. Prepare yourself, get ready and keep in consideration your limitations as well as your strengths.
