They did it last season as well, the two females, when it was Cheryl and Paula, switched for an episode, but it went back.
I guess there still experimenting. I think simon and demetria interact better but people are obviously more here for ms. spears so they would put her in the main female chair but its a hard decision. With paula and nicole, not so much.
