Gaga won't sell much in 2012 unless it's from October; most of her sales and charting will be during the 2013 Billboard year. But at for Soundscan and worldwide numbers she might do maybe 1.5 million in the US and 3 million worldwide by the end of December.

I dont think that will be hard. At the end of May Madonna had the 5th best selling album released in 2012 so far and its scanned only about 1.25 million on mediatraffic and has since fallen off the chart, selling less than 20k worldwide.

The movie is out October 26th. The same was with Quantum of Solace, which premiered October 29th and the movie credit track was released September 30th. So expect a late September release.

Best selling album released this year is Born To Die with 1.65 approximately. MDNA is actually the number 2 I think released this year, but number 5 overall. I think that it is possible that Gaga can at least have this years best selling album. Either way its gonna be a good year for Interscope.

Edit: Lana also has the 2nd best selling album overall of 2012 (behind Adele who has sold another 6 million this year ) Meaning that Gaga can possibly be behind Adele again, only this time with a different album
