The thing that I had with people saying she only whined in "Dear John" and calling it ******** that her acting she didn't know what she was into is, they ignore the most important part of the song, that are:

She admitted she lost her head and was dumb. Hell even in "Mean" she said that she knew her flaws.
Bob claimed it by himself that "Mean" was about him. But the lyrics fit more to SCM. Keyword? Bar.
Sure if one wrote you a song for calling your ass out. You won't have an unbiased opinion on the song. John & Bob, I know your tricks.
PS: The only problem I have with "Mean" is, it looks more like her, knowing her flaws, but hate it when other pointed it out. I believe she's more mature now in taking shots. Just like she did in "Tell Me Why".

Yep. She told us via songs on who she don't like. Not trashing the person from time to time.
