I really hope we get the new single and album this year because I don't want to wait until 2013.

But she's not attending the VMAs, which puts her at a disadvantage since she probably won't have many opportunities to perform her new single over here, so I guess it makes more sense for the album to come out next year. But still, all sorts of things point to it coming out this year; didn't Jay say something about this year as well?

I just wish we knew for sure.

I think we're definitely getting a single this year, but idk about an album. Seems unlikely.
