I like this song. I just don't understand why Ciara and/or the label chose this to be the opening single for OWA. I expected an uptempo. This would have been a nice US single later along the lines.. But not right now, especially with the testimony on if Ciara can actually make it in the mainstream market or not. We already know she had the urban crowd with how good "Ride" did.... I hope they know exactly what they are doing.

Watch there be a handful of songs better than "Sweat" on the album, but they just decided to throw this out just to empower the album as a whole. They did this with the last couple albums and it failed.

If they get down to the nooks and crannies of her discography... her entire **** is mostly midtempo R&B, slow songs and pop. She has one or two twerk songs on each album the max and people act like her entire albums are full of uptempo/club type when that's what they actually lack.

Hmmm. I was impressed kinda. Its one of those songs that you need have a video in your head 1st before you can be completely slayed. If she doesn't dance in the video, she is done. But I believe shes smarter than that.

People say that the song sounds "all over the place" but don't understand that this style of music is supposed to be off beat and is supposed to sound disjointed in some way. In the end the song comes together and with the video you will be slaaaaayyyyeeed to infinite.

I think this is a new sound for her, despite the fact that it is has an urban sound like her other albums. This is the type of beat that has been heavy hitting on urban radio for YEARS but she never tried prior to now on an official single.

The pop/multi format single will be coming soon, I feel it.

I can't with some of y'all expecting some kind of top 40 classic. I've grown to accept that Ciara always has a bit of a better chance at getting those urban hits these days, so I'm not surprised that this track was an uptempo urban jam. Like a lot of people have mentioned, I'm sure they have a "Love Sex Magic" or "1 2 Step" style pop attempt up their sleeves, but for now just enjoy this for what it is!
