Cz! clearly said that Katy was bigger than Rihanna in the U.S., so it was kinda redundant to bring up "the world" (and she doesn't have the world, only select countries).

I think the chart Reo used is better, because with that chart a song could be selling 300K in the US and nothing outside the US and it would still be in the top 10 making it seem like it's a worldwide hit.

I never thought WA could do this great I mean the only promotion I've seen for it was the BMA performance, if it hits #1 I'm so here for it!
As a Katy stan, I'm shocked myself. I think the song is great but it doesn't scream summer smash. It seems like a song more for the winter or fall. Either way I think "Wide Awake" is great and I'm happy to see it successful.
