Why do you always go there? This is about gaga not Madonna but i you want to go there Yeah, sorry to say but they were higher! and singles weren't that cheap back then. Madonna 3rd album sold 24Million copies WW i think that is alot more then BTW 8 million for a 3rd album. Let's keep it clean no need to Shade anyone and please don't make it hard for me to be a gaga fan. THX

I'm not shading Madonna at all - she has mightily impressive sales that are unlikely to be beaten. The only reason for the comparison was due to her huge sales, but now i realise I should have used another artist for the comparison. I should know better seeing as this is ATRL and something's BOUND to kick off.

Are the Y&I and Judas numbers correct? From every source I've seen, they were always almost exactly equal in WW numbers even though Judas did terribly in the US. Also, MTN is randomly centered and it's ****ing my OCD skldfjla

5m for The Edge of Glory is pretty impressive considering it began as a promo single and was hurriedly switched to an official single without prior warning.

The only thing About the BTW Era was that it was messy ! It sold well but had the wrong single choices !
BTW ( single ) is gonna hit 4 million downloads soon so im okay with that, Judas could have topped BTW but was bashed from the religion, TEOG was quickly rushed as a single making BTW already having 3 singles when the album hasnt come out yet ! The video was also a let down for that amazing song ! Gaga could have went far with TEOG and could have been a anthem ! You&I was ok but shouldnt have been a single ! MTN did the worst and should have been the second single ! If the singles were well organized and spread out 3-4 months BTW will still be selling about 5-10k a week in the US !
