Not surprising. I knew Venus would have had to play her current possible best to even make the match a contest. Radwanska doesn't lose matches, because she plays poorly. She has to be beaten with good, solid playing. Not that I'm fan of hers...

Lepchenko beats Jankovic in three sets I haven't seen Jankovic play in a long time, but her level of play was shocking. She and Lepchenko looked to be on the same level of skill and talent.

Considering all 10 were unseeded and most were journeywomen, nobody should have expected much from them It was incredible that so many made the 2nd round. Anyways, the young ones (McHale, Stephens) made it through, so that's good.
Yeah, even if this finishes in the next ten minutes, they'd still have to prepare the court for Maria's match and then she'd have to warm up. There's only 40-45 minutes of daylight left out there. It wouldn't be worth it to start the match tonight
