This album is the first that is not boy-bashing. [laughs] Is it inspired by my personal relationships? Yes. Inspired by life experiences? Yes. Inspired by experiences in situations with my family and friends? Yes.
What do you think of the new stars who have emerged since your last record, like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Ke$ha?
