you 2 have a good communication but have different backgrounds which is seen in everyday life and sometimes you have argument over that. Like your better half had money all of his life and the only thing he neeeded to do is to study . He has finished medicine and now he's is waiting his dad to pull some strings so he could get specialisation he wants to. Also he was never in charge of paying for his own bills and apartment so he finds those conversations "boring". You on the other hand didn't have that money and while studying you were also working but not to spent all your paycheck on yourself but to help your family. Also you find his way of " my dad needs to contact ppl for my future and my job while i'm doing nothing in another city and just going for a coffee every day with my friends" thinking spoiled and childish.


Would you stay in that relationship no matter what just so you can have nice future because of the money or you would not ?

As someone who worked 3 jobs while holding down a full load, I would say that it would be annoying but it's not anything that can't be worked through. We all have our faults. He should try to pull it together though. What if his dad isn't able to pull connections. Connections only work if you have the drive to take advantage of them. He might not be ready for a relationship if he is insensitive and/or selfish and unaware of his privilege.

I get the problem. I personally wouldn't be able to maintain that relationship, simply because I've worked too hard to achieve the (few) things I have so far and I wouldn't want my boyfriend to be a constant reminder of how much better my life would have been if I was privileged and how unfair things are, generally.

But that's just me. In your case, if you're into him, you will find a way to process it all. The only concerning part is this
How often and how intense are those arguments?

So let me get this straight...
You're only staying with this person because, you think, you'd have a nice future because of THEIR money?
Nah, don't do that. Don't throw your life away over money

I would stay in the relationship if I'm happy with him, regardless or having or not having money in the future.

I couldn't do it.

I feel like that carefree attitude would spill over into other avenues of his life besides his career. If he's used to not having to work for things, I'd just feel like I'd bear the load for both of us in life we chose to spend it together. Also, (and I'm generalizing here) people like that seem to run at the first sign of real trouble because they aren't used to dealing with their own problems

I'd never be able to date someone like that.
