TLDR: Let's bring respect and fun back to ATRL.


We need to start being positive again y'all... There's so much hate and negativity going around on ATRL since the old days. Whether it be toward other members, toward our faves, or toward anything and everything a thread is posted about....

We are constantly questioning one anothers' integrity, the integrity of our faves, and jumping on bandwagons to bash anyone the majority of atrl seems to not care much about.

This is a community that belongs to all of us, and it's not as simple as "If you don't like it, don't read it."

When negativity becomes as commonplace as it is now and we get comfortable being overly critical of things we haven't truly taken the time to understand, it starts to diminish the experience for more than just a few members of the community.

Let's bring respect and fun back to ATRL.

Exactly! If people have hostility they need to get out, that's where it belongs. This is a family here. We use the term "sis" for a reason. But it seems as a whole we've started losing too much respect for one another. We need to return to form. We haven't reached our peak.

I respectfully disagree. It has changed quite a bit since I joined in 2010. Denigrating the forum to being nothing but social misfits with no lives obsessing over famous women (not to mention using your opinion to "hush" me for sharing my opinion respectfully) is exactly why things need to change.

There's a difference between pure hate and funny, creative shade. I agree that vicious hate has gotten in the way of many threads. If you're gonna hate, at least be shady and fun with it and not disrespectful.
