So humans are pretty dumb and we never learn from our mistakes so I was wondering when do you think we'll go extinct? Personally I think it could be in the fairly near-future and it will likely be our own fault. What about you? And what do you think will cause it?
I don't think we'll go extinct though, that NASA will save us - Fly us on a balloon to the Moon, make a pit stop centre, then carry on flying to Mars. Once at Mars, we'll set up camp and create a mini town which will expand into a city, which will then become the capital. Other cities will then be created and soon countries. Then NASA will carry on their research with the data they have saved on their iPhones and start working towards getting us to one of the thousands of planets we have found using the telescope in the mountains.

Are you sure that wasn't just an intruder who told you that, to make it seem what they were doing, less bad?
Humans will never go extinct as long as our galaxy is still in tact. We are a parasite, we will move and adapt to new surroundings. When the Earth ends, best believe we have already started a colony on a nearby planet.
I don't know when we'll go extinct, but our population is rising at an extremely fast rate. As population and economy grows, diversity and ecosystem health diminish due to over consumption of natural resources. We'll probably run out of fresh water before anything else which will cause the human population and many other populations to decline or go extinct.
Also, there are patterns to mass extinctions, and the next one (6th I believe) is apparently supposed to be coming soon. Not sure if we'll make it.
