To be fair, she is studying at USC while doing the show and writing/recording the new album: she hasn't stopped even if the material hasn't been released yet. Just a few weeks ago, she said the music is done and now she is prepping for release.
As for Undateable, it was very big for NBC. It was a live show. It featured cameos from artists such as Victoria Justice, Ed Sheeran, Alessia Cara, etc.
