A lot of gays are incredibly self-hating and prejudice against certain 'types' of gays but I would never genuinely be worried that I would be in danger around a couple of self-hating gays but I would be a little nervous in a room full of homophobic straight men.

So straight people, imo, are more homophobic than gay people because gay people are not going to be so hateful that they beat you up because you're gay where as there have been so many stories of homophobic violence brought on by straight people.

You didn't lie. Months ago, I came across a thread where, if I remember correctly, people were asked if they would date a DL guy. There were like two people who said yes, and then explained that they're self-hating gays and want a man who acts straight or something along those lines

Always call each other slurs, try to demean each other using sexuality/femininity as if it's a negative thing.
