Justin Timberlake is plotting a collaboration with The Weeknd. Timberlake confirmed the news in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, saying, "Abel and I have been talking about doing a collab soon…maybe for his," and added The Weeknd is "working on an album right now."
If you remember, The Weeknd dropped out of Rihanna's ANTI World Tour citing "upcoming projects" as his reason. He also recently confirmed he is back in the studio with two of the producers he worked with on House of Balloons. source
