I see some people here have posted in those "what albums have you bought this year" threads and they'll post like 5-20 albums. So do you buy loads of singles/albums by artists or just stuff by your fave only?
I'd understand if they were upcoming artists who need the money but some of these popstars are filthy rich and they brag about their wealth. So what's the point of giving an artist more money to add to their billions when there are homeless people around, people in poor countries and also to take care of yourself and your livelihood?
I would personally buy the albums and tour tickets by my fave only but not stuff like T-shirts etc.
naah
only Rih and Kanye
and i'm buying Lemonade this week cause this album is too good
the rest is on Tidal
edit: i mean i only buy CDs cause buying digital is useless when you're streaming music
I used to buy literally everything but now that we have streaming, I only really drop money on CDs of albums that I really, really like. Also only my faves.
I used to buy and collect a lot of music cds, especially all the singles-versions from other countries, but now I stopped, I have other priorities, but I still buy the music only from my faves, for the rest I stream.
I don't really buy new music very much but I buy a lot of used/second hand CD's for very cheap prices (albums and singles) but this is only if I know the artist very well and like their music.
I have bought 40-50 CDs in the last year and I have preordered Ariana's Dangerous Woman Japanese Special Price edition and I will also be buying Tiziano's new album. I'm seriously running out of room.
