ABSCBN obliterates GMA in ratings in any day of the week, in any month of the year, in any given year as shown by Kantar Media daily ratings. ABSCBN shows and news programs are always leading GMA's by a huge margin. And if we will go by recognitions, ABSCBN is the most awarded television station both in the local and international markets. Need not to mention one by one it’s numerous honors and recognition just in a span of a year. In 2014 alone it gathered 41 int'l awards vs. GMA's 24 awards. Not to mention it is the only Philippine media company in FinanceAsia’s list of “Asia’s Best Companies 2015," and ranked 7th most admired company in the Philippines (the only media company in the list) by The Wall Street Journal Asia.
Whichever of the two is 'better' or 'more credible' is down to one's subjective opinion and perception. But there is literally no competition as to which is the undisputable #1 TV network and the most trusted news organization in the country. ABSCBN does not need to mention its place in the industry because merely the fans and its countless local and international awards and recognitions which far exceed that of GMA's speak for it unlike GMA which ought to self-proclaim and aggrandize in order to get fans and viewership, and elevate its status.

Credibility in news belongs to GMA 7. It's really embarrassing that from the second most credible news casting station they went down to #3.
They are an embarrassment and THIS shows that social media isn't crazy about this when our next president calls them out. Hilarious.
Duterte is not the Donald Trump of the Philippines and we have TIME to back our **** up.

ABS-CBN News looks and acts high-end while GMA News seems to be a student-project-made that's why between the two ABSCBN is the only one which has a news channel available on a cable board which you need to subscribe unlike all of GMA's news programs which are available only on free TV.
And comparing Duterte to Donald Trump is actually an understatement since the latter is yet to kill anyone. Duterte is more of a Robert Mugabe or a Hugo Chavez.
