Social media actors dragged by Emma Thompson & Michael Caine

I was 30 before I became well known. I’ve watched it ruin people. By the time they’re 30, they’re through.”
Most people's careers are over before they're 30 now. You're supposed to be still gaining traction in your career at 30 (or just starting it for some people ), not ending it.
They didn't lie, but Cara is a different story because she has a lot of potential and a very unique (I'm not being sarcastic) viewpoint to bring to her roles.

they are talking about LOTS of people. It'd be unfair to single one person out. Just google who they've specifically worked with if your that interested.

They need to get with the times. Social media is producing actors whether you, I or they like it. A large following is obviously appealing to directors/producers, especially if they're wanting to draw in the younger crowd. They're part of the older generation so they probably don't really get it, but it's only going to increase in the future.
Also the nerve of Michael Caine saying he didn't want/expect to be famous. If that was the case he should have not done any movies/TV shows. Cannot stand pretentious actors, overpaid for not doing very much and still want to talk nonsense.
Yea its crazy how social media is creating new famous people who have zero talent. They get television/movie deals or even start singing careers like that guy Ricky who sounds like a dying kitten.
Giving Social Media stars acting roles work for channels on like Disney Channel or Nick. But, if you add them to any of where the good actors are really are in television for example Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, ect. The shows will seriously flop since ain't nobody older than like 17 or so here for some bad acting.
Who tho? I feel like the social media thing hasn't caught on in the movie biz as it has the music and fashion biz, so while I get their point, I can't think of anyone who it could apply to
