So hear me out, there is no offense intended. Is bisexuality problematic? The term "bi" means two and it applies to being attracted to two genders (male & female), however there are identities which fall outwith the gender binary norm such: bigender, trigender, demigender, non-identifying, plantkin etc. and I was thinking does this make bisexuality exclusatory as it doesn't accommodate for these? So is the term bisexuality inherently problematic?
Why would it be problematic? Straight and gay people like one sex. Bisexuals like two sexes. I'm sure there are other names for people who are attracted to more than two sexes (Polysexual, perhaps?). You can't help what or who you are / aren't attracted to.
