Girl, California NYC is great, but the rest of NY State is anywhere USA. California is the most iconic state for a reason

California. NYC gets a lot of hype but it's not as good as it's made out to be.

I've been to NY a couple of times, great place to travel to but I can't see myself living there. I've lived in California my whole life.

Honestly think maybe once texas and GA get their wish together they too can be on the level of ny and ca.

i've been to NYC several times and it's actually so much fun. the only problem was the weird street vendor that threatened to beat me up for not buying his mixtape

but i also went to san francisco and it was great, too...it was summer and it was hot as hell in DC so when i got there it felt so nice to be in the cool weather. and we stayed in a nice hotel too. it was so nice i wanna go there again

but i'm not really interested in the rest of california outside of san francisco and overall NYC has given me more fun times (partially because i can go there more often) so i'll vote NY

edit: oh i forgot to mention, i had an 8 hour layover in LA and i went out into the city and it was terrible. >_> i don't want to go there again

California and there's no question about it. NYC is cute though I've been there as well but the rest of NY is unknown while California has multiple iconic cities.
