AB has often made people irate with things she's said on Twitter, but I feel as though this interview gives a great insight on who she is as a person, how self-aware she is & how much she understands her fan base & what they want.

It's a great watch & a good way to get new perspective if all you're exposed to are her comedic twitter rambles.

Love it and I would totally wanna hear her contemporary jazz, although I gotta say the bit about gay kids made me feel weird. She does give you the self-conscious, educated vibe throughout the whole video, but then she kills it when you can't tell whether she's genuinely uninterested or just disappointed when she says that her fans are mostly young gays. Az girl, your lyrics were born into this universe to attract girls and young gays, you can't expect to snatch Kanye's or Eminem's fans with them.

I think she seems uninterested because she genuinely doesn't care about who she attracts, fans are fans. She's not one of those artists who panders to a minority just for their coin I'd be a lot more concerned if she viewed her gay fans in a stereotypical "gay BFFs" kind of way

If she doesn't care and makes music for the music, then it's the best scenario, and I do wanna believe that. After all her music may still attract homosexuals, but she actually keeps changing (in my opinion), and neither of her records pandered to the fanbase of the preceeding one.
But you are right, the most important point is that we can only hope she doesn't think we're all "sissies bopping their bussies", when she says "gay kids“. I think she's too clever for that, but she repeatedly proves you never know anything for sure with her.
