Poll: Is criticising Israel anti-Semitic?

Politicians here are getting completely dragged here for talking unfavourably about Israel in 2014. Someone was literally criticising them for killing Palestinian kids and compared it to Hitler, and has been suspended for anti-Semitism.

Is criticising Israel anti-Semitic? As long as it's based on their actions rather than their religion, I see no problem with this.

No, not at all. But a few people mix their critique of Israel with anti Semitism which makes it hard to discern sometimes.

No, but I do know that some anti-Semitic people hide under the whole Israel-is-terrible guise to express their hatred of Jews. I know a ton of Jews (especially orthodox Jews) who repeatedly express their discontent of Israel.

I kind of agree with this, though. When someone is staunchly anti-immigration I'm quite prejudiced and assume it to be a cover for racism; I sometimes wonder why I don't feel the same about criticism of Israel.

No not really. To criticize a country based on their policies is not antisemitism. There's laws across Europe against Holocaust denial for example because it's considered antisemitism.

All those who have been suspended (that I know of) did not deserve to be.
They're being instantly accused of being anti-semitic for making valid anti-Israel points.

Being classist is just as bad as being anti-semitic yet you don't see any of the tories being suspended (because they all would be...).
