When in fact Ted Cruz is more vile towards the LGBT does the LGBT not know that Cruz attended a "Gays should be Killed" rally and was actually endorsed by the pastor who hosted the event? Cruz is also very supportive of the NC law and is encouraging more states to do it while Trump said he doesn't agree with the law and said he doesn't care what bathroom Caitlyn Jenner uses

I don't think that's true. Cruz is more evil and bizzare than trump, but not as loud and cartoonish so average people just don't talk about him as much or know as much about him. Trump is the one who actually has the best shot at getting the GOP nomination so that's why he's discussed more than Cruz. That doesn't mean he's hated more.

Where is it ever hinted that the LGBTQ community prefers Ted Cruz? I've actually never seen any political polling on preferences in the LGBTQ community, let alone for Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

The only gay Republican I know hates Ted Cruz and is voting for Hillary in November, unless Kasich gets the nomination (so he's voting for Hillary).
