well he wanted this sound but label wanted hits so instead scrapping it completely he agreed to release remixes as singles

This is great, love Sean's verse.
And I like all the original versions and the remixes so far. I think it's cool that he got to make songs that he wanted, and then still service hits (in the form of remixes) to radio.
