Argentine actress Romina Yan died Tuesday afternoon after suffering from a heart attack.
Sources said Yan was rushed to the Central Hospital of San Isidro by a friend after she “fainted” in her home. The doctors tried to revive her by performing rehabilitation exercises for almost an hour, but failed. There were reports that the 36-year-old was in a dead state when she got to the hospital because of a “non traumatic heart attack as a result of brain aneurysm.”
Yan, whose real name is Romina Yankelevich De Giaccomi, was the daughter of producers Gustavo Yankelevich and Cris Morena. She achieved international fame when she appeared on the series “Chiquititas,” a show created by her mom. She is survived by her husband Dario Giordano and three children Franco (9), Valentin (7) and Azul (4).
