Hmm suspicious. Where they trying to avoid an autopsy to avoid controversy? Do we even know the exact cause of death?

I'm sorry if I offend anyone by asking, but literally what's the point of cremation? Like.. why would you want to burn yourself into ash instead of peacefully resting in a casket? I've always wanted to know this..

1. Funeral are expensive I don't need to put my fam in any debt after my death.

2. I hear to many stories about people who get buried but still be alive just burn my ass up.

3. I'd like to be in my favorite place as my final resting.

Your body decomposes in the casket or by cremation.. like what is the point of following tradition if we know scientifically you die and you just kind of decompose.. its science and you shouldnt fear that since you cant even feel it since your kind of dead by that point. You cant "peacefully" rest in a casket if your dead.. like we do this only for our loved ones left behind because it may give them ease of mind.

They already performed the autopsy. It was probably his wishes. If it was simply his family's wishes then that's also completely justified. They don't owe his fans anything tbh. They were the people closest to him and have every right to proceed with the grief process (which is real and lasting in a way that is not and will never be for Jimmy from Georgia who's Prince's number 1 fan) as they see fit.

He was cremated very quietly and privately so soon after his death, I know it sounds stupid but it just makes me so much sadder when this happens as it makes everything so final.

Cremation is more cost effective. And personally, I'd rather be burned to ashes and have my ashes spread in the ocean than decompose slowly and rot with worms eating my body and stuff.
