While Canada's main cities are ranked higher on the Mercer quality of living survey than Australia's, is believed to be more socially progressive and more accepting in general, Australia has a stronger and more consistent economy, more universities in QS world university rankings top 1000, more diverse nature, better weather and by far greater beaches.

Where would you live between the two if you had to choose?

It's tough, as Canada is very alike Norway for being on another continent and I like it here obviously, but I think I'll go with Australia

Maybe Canada because it's more similar to the US. Less culture shock.

As an Australian, Canada.

People in Canada seem nicer, and the quality of life too.

But Australia seems to have better weather and hotter guys so both have amazing natural scenery so I'd be happy with both.

Both seem nice countries but maybe Canada as then I can visit the US too. Also less crazy animals there I think.

All I'll choose from Australia personally, is the weather.

Sydney is overrated: lovely environment (we have the best natural harbour, I'm still in awe when I pass it everyday) / no culture (people are rude, and ignorance is rampant)
