My favorite childhood vacation spot is Wildwood, NJ. Located at the bottom of the long Jersey Shore.. the island town has a giant boardwalk and great beaches. I would go down every summer and it was everything, the boardwalk atmosphere of the Jersey Shore is one of a kind.
Huge rides and games all night, great music, funnel cake, boardwalk pizza..

I got to Phoenix AZ to see my bro graduate college . It was so nice. Also I've been to Lampass Tx to see my great uncle. And to Abeline, TX Queen Jessica Simpsons birth town to see my Artistic brother.

My family liked to alternate between California and NYC during the summers, but as a kid I obviously preferred California because it meant visiting Disneyland, Legoland, Sea World, Knotts berry farm and Universal

I also really liked visitng San Francisco and El Sausalito because of the beaches

I WENT TO WILDWOOD TOO!!! it really was everything! i also went to Ocean City, Maryland which was great too. We also took multiple road trips to Disney (i live in pa so its a trip) and on the way we stop at this shady ass souvenir town in south Carolina called "south of the border" and i love it. and last year we went to bush gardens which i would recommend to anyone!

Wildwood had some damage during Hurricane Sandy but it still held up.

Seaside Heights (where Jersey Shore was filmed) is the town that got hit the hardest during the storm.. half of the boardwalk had to be rebuilt, i went last summer and it was thriving again
