Teenaged chanteuse Sky Ferreira has been enchanting us around here for almost a year now. With her Effy from "Skins" look, her enigmatic blankness and her assured and gorgeous songs like, "One" and "17," we were already Team Sky. But after this charming Buzzworthy interview, you can count us as certified Sky Ferreira flag-bearers.
Sky starts out the interview on the subject of another (one-time) teen queen, Britney Spears. Sky addresses the rumors that she and Britney were going to be collaborating. Apparently she has written for Britney Spears, but the two haven't yet gotten down to recording together. Yet.
Sky Ferreira goes on to talk about sharing a music video director with Kelis (the talented Marc Klasfeld) and her "sadistic" new video for her song "Obsession." The video was partially inspired by "Reservoir Dogs," but it's really about people's obsessions with stars like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Ha! Who would ever be obsessed with those two!? (JUST! KIDDING!)
It's a fun interview. Honestly, it's almost unnerving that someone so young is so articulate and bright. Maybe the kids are alright!
