Star Trak/Interscope artists N.E.R.D. will hit the road with Gorillaz on their “Escape to Plastic Beach Tour” beginning October 6th in Boston, MA. In addition to N.E.R.D., De La Soul, Little Dragon, and Bobby Womack will join the Gorillaz Plastic Beach band which features Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of the Clash as special guests. “We are all super excited to be on tour with Gorillaz,” said Pharrell Williams, “N*E*R*D* is all about expanding creatively and Gorillaz have been doing that for years. We are all huge fans and really admire their vision” Pharrell said. N.E.R.D. are set to release Nothing, their fourth studio album this fall.
