Misfits was also one of those shows that was so specific, that if you didn't get it, the humor and plots were lost on you. Like 2 out of the 10 people that I know that watched it, were able to "get it".

I've heard that the UK version of Shameless is bad and they were both adapted by Showtime that is a great cable channel anyway. Nothing good comes out of adaptations when those Freeforms, MTVs and etc. start making them

VERY confused - isn't Freeform the new 'ABC family'? As in the channel that does PLL?
Cause wtf, Misfits is definitely not for that audience, over here in the UK it was on at like 9pm and was pretty edgy, could be very rude/violent at times.
Anyway I agree with everyone else, re-making this is a terrible idea, Americans almost definitely will not do it justice.
