According to ATRL none of the members besides Camilla can make it as solo pop stars? Why? some reasons are they don't have good enough voices or they cant dance or they aren't "unique" enough. Yet we have pop stars like Taylor Swift and Meghan who cant dance, have decent voices and aren't extremely unique (Meghan said she never even gets recognized).

If they could be solo, they would be. Weren't ALL of them placed in the group by XFactor? The notion that one is more suitable than the other is ridiculous. They all clearly need the group for fame and success.

okay first of all they were all teens when they were created, except maybe ally and how do you know they needed a group? because they were not picked as solo artists in a reality tv show? they only chose like 6 out of hundreds of tryouts to be solo. do you think Britney or Meghan or selena Gomez would have been chosen as solo artists? by the way I love brit Meghan and selena but I still don't understand your point.

My point is, that if they were capable as solo artists, they wouldn't have agreed to be in the group despite them going in for a solo spot. Asking about already established solo artists makes no sense. They made it by themselves, which is the opposite of what 5H is doing. Nothing against the girls. ****, Bey wouldn't haven't gotten anywhere had DC not become the established successful group it did, however it was already in the stars for her.

At this point in time, none of those girls could break off and have major success. This is just my opinion though.

The examples in the OP (Meghan and Taylor) can both write and produce most of their material too. 5H's members lack any sort of significant talent.
