That was amazing. And not some girls losing it because of what was said at the end of the video. So messy.

That was beautiful and so sincere. Ugh at the people in the comments going "white girls rock, too/all girls rock" -- people that try to wipe necessary reinforcements and focus on marginalized groups to include the privileged are so willfully ignorant and will never get why specifically focusing on people that aren't in prime and favorable social position is necessary.

1. It was not racist.
2. "A different level" =/= superior.
3. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are white women. Their race puts them in a position of inherent social privilege; people already in a position of power don't need empowerment messages.

You're listening skills are horrendous. She said "all girls rock, but black girls we just on a another level." Further more how old are you that you don't already know the reasons behind why we have things like the Black Girls Rock, BET Awards, NAACP Awards, Latin Awards, and Asian Awards amongst other ceremonies? There's a reason why we our taught our history. It humbles you.

Open your mind. Just knowing your own history and where you came from will make you ignorant, but understanding what your family fought for and let alone America, will make you appreciate all that you have. Open a book and get off ATRL.
