When you mix systematic poverty and the US' absurd gun culture, this results. I don't know why people act so surprised. Maybe Rahm dickhead Emmanuel and our dumbass governor Bruce Rauner should stop closing down schools, mental health facilities, defunding important programs, etc...then maybe people in poorer communities wouldn't have a strong culture of violence.

Crime within the black community is being addressed and always have been. Don't make claims without doing your research first. The media will never tell you about it because they want to keep up this "hypocritical" narrative of black lives matter in order to delegitimize it. Also I always find it funny how people who aren't black have a lot to say about what we should do, as if we aren't already doing it. No one wants us to succeed more than ourselves but we are trying to do so within the racist political structures we have to work under.
